Longmead House Residential Care Home is housed in a beautiful Victorian building and set in carefully cultivated grounds. It is no more than a five-minute walk from the restaurants, cafés, shops and facilities of Caterham-on-the-Hill, a northern Surrey commuter town with excellent transport links to London, Croydon, Gatwick Airport, Guildford and with close proximity to the M25, M23 and A22 major routes.
The house, framed by its stunning, dominant pine tree, is a local Caterham landmark. In care terms, Longmead enjoys an excellent reputation forged through many years of dedicated leadership, exemplary service provision and the ongoing development of the highest residential home standards by owner and patron Catherina McAleese S.R.N., and her highly trained team. This warm and friendly residential care home, comprising 17 well-equipped rooms, offers a most welcoming, caring and compassionate environment befitting its proud independent status.
The primary purpose of Longmead House is to provide a home-from-home for all residents. Longmead’s team are very sympathetic to the daunting nature of, and challenges presented by, the move into residential care from a formerly involved and active life and the team do their utmost both to ease this transition and to encourage as much independent living as possible.
A complimentary day is offered to all prospective residents and we would very much welcome the opportunity to discuss your requirements further. Please do give us a call on 01883 340686 or drop us an email enquiry using the attached contact form.
